Blast From The Past

I still get really excited when I think about Christopher Kane's MA collection, so I thought I'd share some of my favorite pieces with you for old times sake. The extraordinary colour combinations and figure flattering panelling on the body con dresses make me slightly giddy!!

Not to mention dozens of pattern variations, encompassing stretch lace, chain mail, crystal mesh, brass rings and boudoir ruffles. I have to say, as much as I do still admire his designs, this collection is still by far my favorite!!

Splash Out In Style..

It didn't seem that long ago that I wouldn't be caught dead in a swimming suit! Well, thanks to the lovely people at ASOS, that's all about to change! They are launching this amazing swimwear collection, with some fabulous cossies that I can guarantee you will be dying to get your hands on!! Believe it or not, swimming costumes have actually gotten sexy this season, ASOS have reworked them with mesh panels, slashes, ruffles, lattice sides and kitsch prints. These guys are almost to good for the pool!!

Mustang Must-have

I know this is supposed to be my blog of all things fashion related....but, meh.. So,  I walk past a beautiful 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback reguarly on my way to The Fashion Towers, although the one I see rocks a super cool matt black paint job!! But today the beast actually drove past me, causing me to yelp with excitment. I NEED rather than WANT one now!! And plus I'm yet to find an outfit that this car will fail to accessorise!!

Pure and Simple..

I do love a good window display, and this one at Zara, Oxford Street is no exception!! I love the purity and the cleanliness of the overall look, the crisp, sharp lines of the tailoring and most of all I love the outfits!!!

I'm a big fan of the sheer, layered socks, and the draped silks mixed with hard tailored pieces. Hell, i love it all, yes, even the spiders!!

The Joke's On You..

Wander Into Wonderland..

So, I have been browsing through ASOS, as you do, filling a basket full of wonders my wages won't allow! And I came across these beauties! I love all the tribal and aztec prints that are around at the minute, and these pieces work the trend really well, teamed with either pair of colour block shoes, (I couldn't choose between the two so decided on both!) the simple beaded necklace and funky sunnies and you have my 'must have' summer look down to a T!! But until the sun decides to make a more permanent entry to our lives I think I might just wear the orange suedes with a pair of rolled up jeans.. beautiful!!
